About the method

Relationship Blueprint is built on attachment theory — the study of how we learn, early on, to seek and respond to closeness. The framework traces back to the work of John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth, and was later extended to adult romantic relationships. The idea worth holding onto: your patterns aren't a fixed personality, they're strategies your nervous system learned — and strategies can be re-learned. Psychologists call moving toward security "earned secure," and that's the whole aim here.

The quiz is a self-reflection tool, not a clinical assessment. The four styles are a useful map, not a box — most people are a blend, and your result can shift over time. That's the point. What this site offers is psychoeducation and practice: small, repeatable moves that, done often, become your defaults.

This isn't therapy

This is an educational, self-help tool. It isn't therapy, diagnosis, or a substitute for professional mental-health care. If you're struggling, a licensed therapist can offer something an app can't — please consider reaching out to one.

If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, you deserve immediate support. You can find a free, confidential helpline for your country at findahelpline.com, or contact your local emergency number.

And if anything in your relationship involves fear, control, or coercion, please see the "Is this relationship safe?" page — that's beyond what any self-help tool should handle alone.
